Steward ("we," "us," "our") provides an AI-powered home maintenance concierge service via SMS. By texting our phone number or using our service, you agree to these terms.
2. How the Service Works
You text our number to describe a home maintenance issue. We provide pricing intelligence, scope validation, and coaching at no cost. Optional concierge services (contractor coordination, outbound calls) are available for a per-incident fee.
3. SMS Messaging
By texting our number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Steward related to your home maintenance inquiries. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your requests. Text STOP to opt out at any time. Text HELP for assistance.
4. Pricing
Free services: pricing briefings, scope validation, real-time coaching, negotiation guidance.
Paid services: concierge coordination at $49 (standard) or $79 (priority) per incident. You will always be informed of the cost and asked to confirm before any paid service is initiated.
5. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Steward provides information and coordination assistance. We do not guarantee contractor availability, pricing accuracy, work quality, or project outcomes. Our pricing estimates are based on market data and may not reflect every contractor's pricing.
6. Photos and Data
Photos you send are stored securely and used to assess your home maintenance issue. We do not sell your photos or personal data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Not a Licensed Contractor
Steward is an information and coordination service. We are not a licensed contractor, and our guidance does not replace professional inspection or advice. For emergencies involving safety risks, contact your local emergency services.
8. Limitation of Liability
Steward is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from contractor work, pricing discrepancies, or reliance on our recommendations. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the specific incident in question.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
